We're coming up on 2012 y'all. It's the year the Mayan calendar will end. I plan a post next week that will include a poll: If the world ended and you had to spend eternity in a book, which one would it be? But I need YOUR submissions to build the poll.

Here are some classics for consideration:
1. Alice in Wonderland
2. A Christmas Carol
3. War and Peace
4. Gone with the Wind
5. To Kill a Mockingbird
6. Pride and Prejudice
7. Wuthering Heights
8. The Great Gatsby

Now it's time for you to comment and give me your submissions for the poll. By commenting you'll also be entered to win an ebook copy or print copy of Entanglements. And, if you comment and fill out the form on this link: Entry Form  you'll be entered to win a loaded NOOK.
*Be sure to leave your email address in case you win.

  1. I guess Gone with the Wind since I am a Southern girl, but Alice in Wonderland would be my second choice

  2. That's a hard one, probably any Nora Roberts or Susan Mallery book because they always have a happy ending. I'm all about the happy ending. I hope you have a joyous and safe holiday season. Thank you for the excellent giveaway.

  3. I would like to live in "The Elegance of the Hedgehog" by Muriel Barbery. Alison Anderson translated the novel. The story is wise, loving, and very important, features a cat.

My email address is cheshirekitten@sbcglobal.net, just in case I win. This was a fun thing to think about. Thanks!

  6. What an interesting poll. So many good books to pick from, hmmmmm.. I'm going to go with Little Women. I haven't read it in a while, but I loved it when I was in grade school.
